WASHINGTON, D.C.–People’s Action today endorsed a slate of five Vermont state-level candidates for election. The candidates are running movement politics, people-powered campaigns and will fight for the People’s Action People’s Platform once elected. Each of these candidates is also endorsed by People’s Action’s Vermont member organization, Rights and Democracy.

Today’s endorsees include:

  • David Zuckerman for Governor
  • Brenda Siegal for Lieutenant Governor
  • Jubilee McGill for State Representative (Addison-5)
  • Taylor Small for State Representative (Chittenden-6-7)
  • Tanya Vyhovsky for State Representative (Chittenden-8-1)

“We need leaders who will put people and our planet first and finally take control back from politicians backed by greedy, wealthy interests in Vermont,” People’s Action Director of Movement Governing Brooke Adams said. “We’re living through economic and racial uprisings unlike we’ve ever seen, and these candidates know what it’s like to be part of the multiracial working class. They will fight for justice, and People’s Action couldn’t be prouder to work with Rights and Democracy to get them elected.”
