You know what’s happening right now: The powerful few are trying to pick their voters instead of letting us choose our leaders. But too many people are tuning out. Some are cynical, others are overwhelmed and frustrated. And if they give up on voting, they’re the ones who get hurt. POur representatives are elected to work for us, not tech billionaires and developers. Yet, across the country, they’re letting Big Tech corporations make billions in profits by building fossil-fuel-powered data centers that we pay for with higher utility rates while we watch the Pacific Northwest burn, flash floods drown the South and the Midwest, and heatwaves devastate the whole country. While our families suffer and taxpayers foot the bill, tech corporations are raking in billions and donating hundreds of millions to try to buy our elections. Instead of creating jobs, Big Tech is building AI to take jobs away, undermine teachers, and mess with our kids. These same corporations are helping the federal government track our every move.
