| They’re moving beyond terrorizing immigrant communities in the streets. Now, the Trump administration is trying to use the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to kick “mixed status” immigrant families out of their homes. For decades, HUD’s housing policy has been designed to keep families together and housed by allowing eligible and ineligible people (like undocumented immigrants) to live together in public and subsidized housing.
