Rent keeps climbing. The grocery bill keeps growing. Fill up the tank and watch your paycheck shrink. Meanwhile, this regime for the bullies and billionaires finds endless money for bombs and oil profits, but nothing for the people keeping this country running.

That’s not a mistake. That’s the design. Billionaires rig the game, and we’re the ones who lose. But we’re done playing by their rules.

Ready to turn the tide?

On May 1, working people across America are hitting pause on business as usual.
What changes everything? When we stop begging and start building. When workplaces empty out. When streets fill up. When we decide enough is enough.

The numbers don’t lie:
Gas is up 30% under Trump, hitting $4 a gallon. “Consumer confidence” (which measures how optimistic we are about the economy) just crashed to its lowest point ever. Three million people got kicked off food assistance while corporations banked $3.5 trillion in profits. Jobs are disappearing. Medicaid’s under attack. And they want us to believe this is normal.

But look what’s happening:
There are thousands of  May Day Strong actions already on the map. Chicago made May 1 an official city holiday. Unions are coordinating across industries. Students are planning walkouts. Entire neighborhoods are getting organized.

This is power in motion.
Think about everything we’ve won over the years: the five-day workweek. A living wage. Protection from discrimination. None of it came from asking nicely. Every single gain came from movements that made themselves impossible to dismiss.

When we stand together, we can’t be stopped.
Find your event. Bring your crew. Make them feel our strength.

TOMORROW: Join the last May Day Strong Mass Call!
Hear from the incredible people who are building actions across the country and how you can join us in taking a stand.

Learn How Data Centers Are Impacting Public Schools
Communities across the U.S. are organizing to strengthen our local public schools, making them healthier and more resilient in the face of climate change. Chicago schools are starting to install solar power. The El Paso Independent School District passed a resolution committing to carbon neutrality across the district by 2050. Our next quarterly “Our Schools Our Power” meet up focuses on how data centers are affecting schools and what communities can do to fight back.

Write a Letter to the Editor: Utility CEOs’ Paychecks Prove Corporate Greed
The Energy and Policy Institute has released an analysis showing that from 2017 to 2025, utilities paid their CEOs more than $5.2 billion. With 1 in 3 households struggling to keep up with their electric bills, it’s time to limit how much we pay to pad utility CEO paychecks. Check out the advocate toolkit to find out how to fight for reform, including a template letter to the editor for you to send to your local paper.
