Every week, People’s Action shares actions you can take online and with our member groups

This Saturday will be one of the biggest early voting events we’ve ever seen.
Are you in?

No Kings is moving from protesting to the polls. The call to action is clear:

* Make your plan,
* Find your early voting site, and
* Cast your ballot before Election Day.

Because early voting is one of the easiest and most effective ways to protect our elections:

1. It takes away the chaos factor. Vote early and you can skip the lines, last-minute polling place changes, bad weather, or scheduling mishaps that could’ve silenced you.

2. It leaves room to fix problems that pop up. If there’s an issue with your registration or ballot, early voting gives you days to solve it, instead of just minutes before the polls close.

3. And it hollows their attempts at intimidation. Reports of armed agents and voter intimidation at polling places are meant to scare people into staying home on Election Day. A ballot cast calmly and confidently in early voting days makes those threats powerless.

Every early ballot is one less vote hanging in the balance on election night. It’s one more vote that’s harder to challenge later. And it’s one more triumph against authoritarianism.

Thousands of communities across the country are hosting early voting events this weekend.

TONIGHT: Protecting the Integrity of American Democracy in the Midterm Elections
The Trump Administration has attempted to sow confusion and disorder in the upcoming midterm elections. You’re invited to join a national town hall on keeping our elections free, fair, and secure. This event is your chance to hear directly about what our elections are facing, straight from the experts and members of Congress.

R.S.V.P. today to join tonight’s town hall, hosted by Rep. Pramila Jayapal and Ranking Member Joe Morelle.
Saturday: Deep Canvass for Democracy
Many people feel disconnected, distrustful, and uncertain. That’s why our ability to engage across differences isn’t just a skill — it’s how we build a democracy in which we all have a say and all of us can thrive together.

Deep canvassing is a tool to build common cause with folks with diverse backgrounds and experiences and win the things we need in our lives. This technique uses curiosity and storytelling to give people a new perspective and energy to fight for change.

Whether you want to deepen connection as a community leader, neighbor or within your own family, join People’s Action Institute this Saturday to learn how to deep canvass.
Monday Nights: Join the Pro-Democracy Task Force
Our democracy is in trouble. Our voting rights are under attack. The regime is trying to take us backwards and undermine our civil liberties. But we are not powerless. Their agenda can only succeed if we comply or idly stand by. That’s why People’s Action Institute is providing a series of trainings to help you understand what we are up against, discuss election protection and what role everyday people can play, develop a county-based strategy, and build community with individuals participating in this effort in different parts of the country.

Join to learn how you can build community power to protect elections in your neck of the woods.
Are You Willing to Fight?

We live in the richest country in the world but working people can’t afford groceries, rent, or health care while some billionaires pay less in taxes than a teacher. Prices rise, wages stay flat, and politicians look the other way and often take money from the same corporations that make life harder for us.

The game is rigged so working people always lose, but we’re done playing by those rules.

If you’re ready to stand up for your neighbors against the greedy and the cruel, sign the Willing to Fight pledge today.
