| The MAGA secretary overseeing ICE, Kristi Noem, said they were sending hundreds more agents to Minnesota after ICE killed Renee Good. Our local affiliate, TakeAction Minnesota, continues to organize to protect our neighbors and students in response, and we invite you again to donate to support their crucial work on the ground. While Trump and his MAGA allies continue their assault on our cities and our neighbors, costs keep going up for things like food, utilities, housing, and of course, health care. That ain’t right–we deserve a government that makes life better for everyone in this country, regardless of their race or where they live. We don’t need armed, masked agents killing people in the streets. This week, in addition to asking for your donations for Minnesota, we have a set of actions you can take to push back against the building of more ICE prisons, the attack on Venezuela, and rising utility costs. And, we want to invite you to join us as we talk to our neighbors about what they need, which is essential if we’re ever going to heal this country. 2026 is already one for the history books, so let’s make our mark together.
