WASHINGTON, D.C.–People’s Action today issued the following statement from Movement Politics Director Marta Popadiak, congratulating Sara Innamorato on a victorious primary campaign for Allegheny County Executive. 

“Sara Innamorato is one of us, and that’s why we endorsed her for Allegheny County Executive. She attended People’s Action’s candidate training, worked alongside our members and many other activists in Pennsylvania to pass harm-reduction legislation, and co-wrote the Whole Homes Repair Bill with our affiliate, Pennsylvania Stands Up. We congratulate her on running a successful, co-governing campaign.
